Cap City Comedy will be hosting next Monday (10/27), a benefit show for Sam Cox, founder of the Comedy Gym in Austin, who has recently fallen ill. Sam has been absolutely fundamental in building the comedy scene in Austin, and has taught comedy workshops, not only all around Austin, but around the world as well.

There’s going to be a raffle for five hundred dollars worth of gift cards, and a silent auction for some neat stuff, an acoustic guitar, an oriental rug, a rocking chair, handmade jewelry, it goes on!

Not to mention that the one and only Robert Hawkins is headlining the show.

So, a call to action to those in area to please, please, please, come out for a night of comedy, raffles, and silent auctions to support a more than worthy cause! If you can’t make it, you can still help out and donate a couple of bucks here, via PayPal.
