Those 'plasticky tapping sounds' are pretty horrible. I saw a guy on the train the other day playing a portable Guitar Hero game.... so weird... he was just tapping away right there during his commute. Guitar Hero doesn't fulfill that need for me and Rock Band makes me play bass on a flimsy little plastic Gibson SG wannabe. On the other hand, I'm a huge They Might Be Giants fan which means I also like to rock the air accordion and probably therefor disqualifies me a judge all together.
